Common faults in the water gauge are:
(1) The cock leaks. The reason is: the plug core is worn; the filler is insufficient or hard; the plug processing is defective.
(2) False water level. The reason is: the steam cock is blocked; the water cock is closed or blocked; the water pipe is blocked by scale and packing; the steam and water pipe is installed incorrectly; the pot water is foamed.
(3) The cock can not be screwed. The reason is that it is not washed for a long time, and is rusted by scale and impurities.
(4) Glass tube blasting of water level gauge. The reason is that the upper and lower joints of the water level gauge are not on the same vertical line; there is no preheating after replacing the new tube.
